Name, Task, and Objective of the Club

1.  The Club Carries the Name:

German Canadian Club Hansa
Brampton - Mississauga, Ontario
The Club was founded on the 25h day of March 1958

2.  Task and Objective of the Club

  a)  The club sets itself the task of making the resident citizens and immigrants of German origin acquainted with one another without discrimination of status or religion, and especially to stand by them by word and deed, to promote German fellowship, merriment and song, as well as to cultivate and protect German customs, culture and language.

  b)  In order to accomplish this task, the club sets itself the goal of providing its own clubhouse and facilities at the disposal of its members and friends.

  c)  German and English shall be considered legal languages at Club meetings and other Club functions.
