German for Beginners (Niveau A1)
Program: Experience German and Germany. Find your way through German cities and the countryside. Identify where you are and talk about you. Use basic grammar to participate in easy conversations. Understand time and express yourself in present, past and future. Write your first essays. Read easy stories and German newspapers.
This class is suited best for people who want to learn German for travel to German speaking countries or need basic German at work. From day one, your teacher involves you in German conversation. A two hour coaching session once a week and ongoing on-line conversations in German will enable you to lead and understand a simple conversation in German by the end of this course. German for Beginners is a direct preparation course for Intermediate Niveau A2.

Conversation classes
Program: In this course, we aim to get you prepared for the next step. As a pre- requisite to this course you should have completed a basic German class at any language school in Canada or you have a basic command of the German language. Regardless if you need final coaching for an upcoming test at work or school or if you just would like to refresh your memory. In this class, we will repeat topics from previous Beginner classes, refine grammar, extend vocabulary and increase conversation skills. The modules of this class will be tailored to your requests. The course will focus on day to day German about topics of your choice. Over 16 weeks with 2 hours per week and on-going on- line support, your teacher will introduce excerpts from German literature, newspapers, music and sports while you refine your grammar and extend your vocabulary.

Intermediate Niveau A2
Programm: In diesem Kurs bereiten wir Sie auf die erste Pruefung mit dem Goethe Institut in Kanada vor. Als Voraussetzung haben Sie einen oder mehrere Deutsche Grundkurse erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Wir werden mit den Lehrwerken "Unternehmen Deutsch" und "Alltag,Beruf & Co." arbeiten. Am Ende dieses Kurses werden Sie in der Lage sein sich sicher in jeder Situation auf Deutsch zu verstaendigen. Sie werden sich auf Deutsch am Arbeitsplatz bewegen koennen und mit grundsaetzlichen Umgangsformen im Alltag vertraut sein. Am Ende des Kurses steht die erste Pruefung mit dem Goethe Institut Kanada,welche die Grunkurse A1 und A2 abschliesst. Ein erfolgreicher Abschluss dieser Klasse wird Ihnen am Arbeitsplatz weiterhelfen und Ihnen einen selbsbewussten Umgang auf Deutsch im Alltag gewaehrleisten.
